105-year-old mum gives 74-year-old daughter 'lucky money' on Chinese New Year
A heartwarming video from eastern China of a 105-year-old mum giving her 74-year-old daughter 'lucky money' on Chinese New Year melting the hearts of millions of Chinese viewers.
In the clip, shot in Lianyungang City in Jiangsu Province on the second day of Chinese New Year (February 6), an old lady puts some cash into her elderly daughter's hand when they sit next to each other to chat.
The video has been re-posted by more than 200 Chinese media companies and received more than a million likes.
According to reports, the 105-year-old woman has two sons and seven daughters, the oldest one is over 80-years-old and the youngest is over 60.
She gives out 'lucky money' to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on Chinese New Year every year.
