6 dead as blizzard-like conditions sweep across states

A winter storm blanketed much of the Midwest, Northeast and the South this weekend, leaving six dead.

This video shows the blizzard-like conditions in Paris, Tennessee on January 19. The filmer told Newsflare this was filmed outside Marvick Convenience store near Highway 79 and Memorial Drive.

I was at the Marvick Convience Store on Hwy 69/Memorial Drive. The weather was Blizzard like conditions with high winds and freezing temps.

"Earlier that day around 1 pm, the temperature had dropped suddenly from about 56 F to about 43 F in a matter of minutes," he said.

The storm caused thousands of flights to be canceled, and several states grappled with coastal flooding on Sunday.
