Ancient 'fire hockey' game lights up Mayan archaeological site


The ancient game of "fire hockey" was filmed at a Mayan archaeological site in southern Mexico, as players passed and shot a ball of fire to each other.

The sport, also called "pelota pur├ępecha", was believed to have been developed up to 3500 years ago and was demonstrated at Xcaret Park, in Quintana Roo state, Mexico.
