Armadillo Digging in the Dirt

Occurred on February 18, 2019 / Patagonia National Park / Cochrane / Chile

Info from Licensor: This is a rodent mammal, called quirquincho, piche or Peludo (depending on where you are). It has been extinct in some areas, but since this was taken in a national park, we can still see some of them. The peludo was digging a hole in the ground, mainly for shelter, but also seeking humidity in the dry season.
