Bag-snatchers in India send woman crashing to ground

This is the shocking moment a woman crashed to the ground after two bike-riding criminals snatched her bag on a busy road in northern India.

The woman was injured and was rushed to a hospital, where she received treatment.

The incident occurred in Hajipur in northern India on May 16.

Police said Supriya Soni and her husband Manish Kumar Chaudhary had gone to a bank to take their gold jewellery out of a locker.

They stopped their bike at Subhash Chowk to go shopping when the criminals, who were likely trailing them, struck.

A local police officer Anjani Kumar Singh said a CCTV footage had revealed clues about the suspects and a case had been registered against them.
