Berlin taxi drivers cause gridlock in protest against Uber

Taxi drivers drove at walking pace and caused heavy traffic throughout Berlin as they protested Uber.

The filmer who shot the video yesterday (April 10) during the protest, said they drove with: "Yellow placards in their window, from Tegel airport to the Brandenburg Gate."

According to local news reports the protest is over government plans to relax market regulations, that would force existing taxi services to compete with ride-hailing services like Uber.
