Birds Diving for Breakfast

Occurred on November 28, 2019 / Puriri Bay, Great Barrier Island, New Zealand

Info from Licensor: "Every still calm morning Jacky Boy and I head out on my paddle board, in Tryphena Harbour. We are so lucky to live here in paradise. Jacky Boy is old, he's fourteen even though he looks like a puppy. He couldn't hear the gannets dive bombing as he's nearly deaf. I thought I saw a bird behind me but it was the tail of a king fish and then I could not believe what I saw! In about 5 metres of water I could see so many huge kingfish, my board is two metres and they were more than half my board in length, I could see six fish deep and they surround me for as far as I could see, maybe 200+ kingfish, it was a magical experience."
