Bizarre mammatus clouds spotted above Chinese City
Mammatus clouds were spotted above northern China's Datong on July 2.
The rare scene shows the pouch-like clouds hanging in the sky.
Mammatus clouds are also known as breast clouds. It's a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud, which associates with hails and thunderstorms.
