British Army veterans protest outside BBC over Soldier F case

Hundreds of British Army veterans and a group of bikers on Saturday staged a protest outside the BBC in London against the decision to charge a former British serviceman with murdering two people when troops opened fire in Londonderry in January 1972.

The man, referred to only as Soldier F, faces charges for the murders of James Wray and William McKinney and the attempted murders of Joseph Friel, Michael Quinn, Joe Mahon and Patrick O'Donnell.
