Buildings and roads collapse in flooding caused by typhoon Lekima in China


Buildings collapsed in flash flooding caused by typhoon Lekima in eastern China's Weifang on August 11.

The video shows several buildings including a local landmark building, Juyuehu pavilion, as well as a road collapsing into the floodwater.

Several vehicles parked on the road were also submerged in the flooding.

According to reports, typhoon Lekima brought strong rainstorm to eastern China's Shandong province, causing massive floods.

1,655,300 people in the province were affected by the typhoon, five of them have been killed and seven are missing.

183,800 people were evacuated and the rescue operation is underway.
