Chinese boy almost gets run over after riding segway on a road

A boy narrowly escaped serious injury twice after falling over while riding a segway in northern China's Ningwu county on August 9.

The terrifying moment shows a boy riding a segway along a road as his parents followed him on a scooter.

However, he suddenly fell forward onto the ground and then the segway dragging him to the middle of the road, narrowly missing a scooter and a car.

The boy's father can be seen rushing to help the boy get back onto his feet and walk back to the side of the road.

According to an onlooker, the segway's sensor was triggered after the boy fell down, so he was dragged away.

Fortunately, the boy was not injured seriously.
