Chinese farmer shows how he makes unqiue baby-shaped cucumbers

A Chinese farmer filmed how he grows bizarre baby-shaped cucumbers in central China.

The video shot on May 22 in Shangqiu City in Henan Province recorded the nine-day process of planting the baby-shaped cucumbers in the unique moulds.

The man named Lu Zhen can be seen cutting off a part of the small cucumber from its end so it can fit inside the plastic baby-shape mould and also leave enough space for it to grow inside.

After nine days, he opened the moulds carefully revealing the baby-shaped cucumbers.

Lu said a lot of buyers were interested in his special-shaped cucumbers including one from Russia and the price of the special cucumbers is 20 times more than the normal ones.
