Chinese firefighters rescue workers trapped on flooded digger

Firefighters rescued two workers trapped on a flooded digger in southern China.

In the video, captured in Dujiangyan City in Sichuan Province on May 27, two workers stand on the arm of a digger as the cabin was submerged in a river.

Firefighters can be seen delivering the life-jacks to the two men on ropes and then dragging them back to shore.

According to reports, the reservoir discharged the water causing the water level suddenly increased when the two workers were doing cleaning and repair work on the river.

Police informed the upstream staff to turn down the discharge, then firemen brought the workers back to safety.

Fortunately, two workers were both alright.
