Chinese teenager steals seaplanes and drives one into guardrails

A 13-year-old boy stole two seaplanes and drove one into the guardrails in eastern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in Huzhou city in Zhejiang province on July 15, shows a boy dragging a seaplane out of a hangar and driving it into the guardrails.

He then came out of the crashed seaplane and went to launch another one.

According to reports, the boy saw the seaplane the day before and was interested. So he drove a scooter back to the hangar at around 1 am the next day and used a knife to open a gap on the canvas.

Since he saw the staff drive the seaplane before, he stole the seaplanes from the hangar and tried to launch them.

Police told the boy off and charged 2000 yuan (£233) as the compensation for the damaged seaplane.
