Chinese woman chokes driver with scarf after being made to stop smoking on bus

Shocking video of a Chinese woman choking a driver with a scarf after she was stopped from smoking on a bus.

The CCTV clip, filmed in Tongchuan City in Shaanxi Province on January 29, shows the bus driver arguing with a female passenger standing behind him. However, the woman suddenly uses a scarf to surround the driver's neck and tries to choke him.

According to reports, the woman, who had had some alcohol, got angry after being stopped from smoking on the bus by the driver, and started to swear and attack him.

The bus has been forced to stop for more than half an hour and police have detained the woman for 15 days.
