Clashes between taxi drivers and riot police in Madrid during anti-Uber protests
Violent, noisy clashes erupt on the streets of Madrid Thursday as taxi drivers continue with their strike against ride-sharing services which began Monday.
"A group of around 30 taxi drivers briefly blocked the M-40 beltway near the Ifema convention center, which is currently hosting a major tourism fair, Fitur," said the filmer. He added that hundreds of cab drivers brought traffic to a standstill around Ifema as part of their own ongoing protest against ride-hailing services.
