Climate activists throw 'blood' outside Downing Street

Activists have thrown buckets of “blood” outside Downing Street to call for greater action on climate change.

About 400 members of the Extinction Rebellion group spilt more than 200 litres of red paint onto the road.

The fake blood was meant to symbolise “the death of our children” and the hellish future young people faced, according to a statement released by the activist group.
