Colossal landslide sends huge waves crashing through reservoir in China's Leshan

A massive landslide sent huge waves crashing down through a reservoir in southern China.

The dramatic video, filmed near X149 in Leshan city in Sichuan province on July 11, shows a man running fast to escape while trees and mud slide down into a reservoir from the side of a mountain.

Since the X149 was under construction, only a few construction vehicles were allowed to enter the section of the road so no casualties were reported.

But the road was blocked and the reservoir was damaged seriously. Repair work is underway.
