Creepy-looking tree spotted covered in silky web from caterpillars
A swarm of ermine moth caterpillars gave a ghostly look to this tree in Derbyshire Dales, England.
Footage shows hundreds of caterpillars crawling on the branches of the tree covered by a silk web today (May 31).
''The bizarre silky phenomena, that looks like spiders’ webs are made by the caterpillars to protect them from birds,'' the filmer explains.
