Cyclist takes chicken for a ride during morning rush hour in Thailand

A cyclist was seen riding in morning rush hour traffic with one chicken on his handlebars and one on his shoulder.

The worker, who was wearing a chef's uniform, was negotiating a busy eight-lane dual carriageway on the morning of May 15.

Before peddling into the road, he even stopped to feed one of the birds by passing food from his mouth into the chicken's beak.

The unusual scene was captured in Bangkok, Thailand.

The filmer said: ''I was riding a motorcycle when I saw the guy with a chicken on his shoulder. I quickly parked the bike and went to film him. Honestly, I couldn't believe it. It's hard enough to survive on Thai roads but this man was quite comfortable doing it on his bike with his pet chickens.''
