Deaf dog gets so excited when owner returns home after four weeks away

Buster, a 17-year-old rescue dog, was very happy to see his owner Alice returning home after four weeks away.

The footage, captured at a home in Manchester, shows Alice gently touching Buster lying asleep on the floor.

The dog then wakes up and gets incredibly excited when he sees Alice close to him.

“He is a rescue dog and we've had him for 13 wonderful years. We lost my mum suddenly last year, so now he is very attached to me. I live away from home for uni though so I only see him every few weeks. He gets very excited to see me because I am his favourite,” says Alice.
