Dramatic detonation of river ice in China’s Heilongjiang to prevent flooding
Dramatic video from northern China shows ice on the Amur River being blown up to prevent flooding as spring is set to bring rising temperatures.
The spectacular clip, shot in Daxing'anling Prefecture in Heilongjiang Province on April 2, shows water being blasted dozens of metres into the air after explosives inside the frozen river are detonated.
