Extinction Rebellion continue protest for the tenth consecutive day at London's Marble Arch

The climate change activist group Extinction Rebellion have been demonstrating in central London for the tenth consecutive day.

In footage captured this afternoon (April 24) protestors were met with a sea of fluorescent jackets as the police remained on the scene with a heavy presence.

Activists are seen staging a sit-down protest while singing in unison, complete with a group of drummers.

As the afternoon progresses, a woman can be seen explaining the progress the group has made with their civil disobedience and gives thanks the participants through a loudhailer.

In earlier protests, demonstrators have been spotted being dragged away by police causing some outrage in the police's handling of the situation.

This event was no different as one woman is seen being removed by multiple officers, while the crowd chants "we love you."
