Extinction Rebellion leads march outside Westminster during PM Brexit vote

Environmental activist group Extinction Rebellion held their protest outside Westminster today (January 15) against Brexit, while Theresa May holds a major vote for her Brexit terms.

Video of the protest shows the environmental activists chanting "No Brexit on a dead planet! No EU on a dead planet!", while waving banners announcing Earth Strike 2019, a planned general strike for environmental awareness.

The group has been active in London recently by blocking traffic and holding public protests for greater policy focus on climate change. The proposed "Earth Strike" is set for September 27, 2019.
