Family on scooter taken out by back door on lorry trailer

A family of three on a scooter were knocked down when the backdoor on a truck trailer suddenly swung open while passing the other way.

The shocking video, captured in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province, southern China, on November 24, shows the lorry trailer door suddenly swinging open, knocking over a scooter carrying a father and his two daughters.

The three were sent to hospital for treatment but were not in life-threatening condition.

The case was being investigated, reports said.
