Fast Flowing River Drags Dog Downstream

Occurred on March 3, 2021 / Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand

Info from Licensor: "Micah Puklowski, the owner of the Labrador and the person filming and cheering him on, and Sarah-Lee Gurnick with her dog Bella were playing in and by the Manawatu River. A place they go every day to play, swim, explore and socialize. Theo, who never chases rocks, surprisingly jumped in after a stone Sarah threw and got suddenly swept down the river. Luckily he is a strong swimmer and after making it out of the crazy current he managed to make it to land, the only problem is it's just an island of stones in the middle of the river and he still needed to cross the river rapids again, to make it home. He ran towards us, jumped on in, got caught in the crazy current again, but this time he was facing the right direction and swam his little golden heart out, to make it back to shore, his worried mother and his friends Sarah & Bella, who excitedly bit him with happiness. Theo loves to swim and thankfully his rush with the raging river ended with him tired, but thankfully fine and ready to jump into danger once again. Just this time in the part of the river with less current."
