Flash floods in China's Yanhe sweep parked vehicles into Wu River after rainstorm


Flash floods swept parked vehicles down a hill into the Wu River after a rainstorm in southwestern China.

The dramatic video, shot on San Xia Avenue in Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County in Guizhou province on June 22, shows vehicles parked on the roadside being washed down a hill before dropping into the Wu River.

In another clip, several cars became stranded in the water and firefighters can be seen using an inflatable boat to rescue people trapped in the flooded houses.

Four people are missing and two were killed. The crops and public facilities were seriously damaged.

More than 1000 rescuers including, firefighters, police officers and soldiers were called into action.
