Flooding in Northern Ireland as Storm Gareth rains breach sea wall

Storm Gareth floods a play park in Northern Ireland, damaging equipment and splashing several feet high when it breaks through the seawall of Portstewart.

Strong gusts of wind and heavy rain hit the area last night (March 12) breaking through the sea wall at around 11pm and flooding nearby roads.

Northern Ireland was the first part of the UK to witness Storm Gareth earlier in the week, with the storm predicted to continue heading east, with three yellow Met warnings in place until Thursday.
