Fog engulfs Sydney Harbour in oddly soothing timelapse video

A mystical fog blew over the famous Sydney Harbour earlier this week (December 17) covering the famous landmarks in a strangely satisfying timelapse video.

The oddly relaxing sheet of mist was caught on camera coming in on the sea breeze and covering the whole harbour, blocking the sight of boats and the Sydney Opera House.

The timelapse footage was filmed over the period of an hour and then compressed into 30 seconds.

The filmer explained: "Humid weather caused a rare and surreal midday fog to sweep in from the coast and engulf Sydney Harbour, flowing over the Sydney Opera House and obscuring the view of the Harbour from my vantage point in a tall building."
