Food fight! Italians beat the pulp out of each other in annual Battle of the Oranges carnival
The northern Italian town of Ivrea held its annual orange carnival - dubbed Battle of the Oranges - on Sunday (March 3).
The carnival sees thousands of people pummel each other with oranges while dressed in brightly coloured medieval clothing.
