Footage shows restaurant scorched and reduced to rubble in Paradise, California

Thousands of structures, including an estimate of 6,453 homes, have been torched in what authorities are calling the most destructive fire in state history.

This video, taken on Saturday, November 10, shows a restaurant along Skyway Road completely destroyed by the fire. In the footage, filmer Mike Daly explains that utility workers are restarting the water pumps, and a steady stream of water can be seen flowing from a pipe and helping to quell the smoke.

As of Sunday afternoon the Butte County Sheriffs’ Office had confirmed 29 fatalities in the burned area, matching the state's deadliest fire. 228 people are still considered missing and unaccounted for.
