Frenzied Great white shark takes a bite out of smaller shark

Nerve-wracking footage has emerged from South Africa as a large white shark is seen aggressively attacking another, smaller, white shark as divers looked on yesterday (October 4).

The rare event took place in Mossel Bay on the south coast of the country, as we can see the larger shark fail to catch a piece of dragged bait, causing it to turn and savage a smaller shark nearby.

The incident shocked the caged divers watching underwater, and demonstrates the way at times a shark's behaviour can quickly change in an instant.
