Glissading Gone Wrong

Occurred on June 26, 2022 / Big Sky, Montana, USA

Info from Licensor: "While hiking the ridgeline above Hidden Lakes in Big Sky Montana, my attempt to descend (Glissade) to the lower rock formation below me, went wrong when I encountered some snowpack that was too frozen for me to self-arrest. Once it became apparent that I could not stop myself, I did my best to avoid any vital body parts from hitting the rocks on the way down. I ended up with one fractured ankle, a torn tendon in the other foot, and several large cuts on my side. According to Google mapping, my estimated fall was approximately 730 feet. After the video ends, my hiking partner and I hiked the 3.5-4 miles back to the car."
