Greedy cobra spits out four eggs after falling sick

This greedy cobra gobbled up four hen's eggs but then fell ill and was caught on camera regurgitating the clutch in southern India.

A farmer family in Badavadinne village of Chikmagalur in Karnataka spotted a young cobra in their courtyard on December 7. The snake had a bulge near the stomach and was lying still.

They called a local snake expert Arif, who caught the snake and moved it around a bit. The snake started regurgitating chicken eggs it had swallowed earlier. As Arif kept count in Kannada, four legs popped out.

Arif said the cobra was young and was not able to handle the four eggs it had swallowed quickly.

He later released the snake in a nearby forest.
