Greedy raccoon has to be rescued after getting head stuck in peanut butter jar
A greedy raccoon whose head became stuck in a jar, after it tried to lick peanut butter from the bottom, was freed yesterday (October 30) following a day-long rescue mission.
The peckish creature was spotted by a homeowner, who noticed the jar lodged on the raccoon’s snout and face as she fed her cats in her backyard.
The resident, of Centereach, New York, US, immediately called the Strong Island Animal Rescue League but by the time they arrived the raccoon had fled.
