Heroic man manages to stop driverless car from rolling down road in China

A heroic man helped a woman stop her driverless car after it started rolling down a road in northern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in Dalian city in Liaoning province on August 21, shows the vehicle gradually move down the road after the driver got out.

After the woman noticed the incident, she ran to catch the car but could not get inside.

A man named Yu Yingfu also chased the vehicle down, pulled the car door open and jumped in to press the brakes.

The woman reportedly forgot to pull the handbrake after she stopped her vehicle on the slope and left.

Thanks to Yu's quick actions, no one was injured.
