Hong Kong protesters destroy property they believe belong to triad gangsters

Demonstrators in Hong Kong lashed out against triad gangsters on Sunday (August 24), who they blame for assaulting them after returning home following a recent pro-democracy protest.

Video filmed on Sunday in Tsuen Wan shows pro-democracy protesters damaging a Mahjong gambling parlour that they believed to be owned by triads responsible for previous violent attacks on protesters and press.

Protesters can also be seen removing signs from a restaurant.

Tsuen Wan is an area of Hong Kong known for its links with triads.
