Hospital door falls off when opened, hitting passing woman

A glass door collapsed onto a woman named Ding when another woman tried to pull it to open at a hospital in northern China.

In the CCTV video, filmed in Xi’an City in Shaanxi Province on February 25, a glass door suddenly comes off its hinges and falls down when a woman in a yellow coat tries to pull it to open, striking Ding who was standing behind her.

Ding was sent to hospital for treatment later and she suffered injuries to her head.

According to reports, the hospital did not repair the broken door earlier, causing the incident.

Ding and the hospital were still negotiating the compensation.
