Hostage situation at train station in Cologne
Police have closed off a large area in the western German city of Cologne amid reports of a hostage situation.
Local media reports a woman has been taken a hostage in a McDonald's restaurant on Breslauer Platz.
The immediate vicinity has been evacuated and police and other emergency services are on the scene.
