How to Cross the Street in Saigon

Occurred on February 22, 2019 / Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Info from Licensor: "I did an eight-day vacation to Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by myself.

In Vietnam, where motorbikes are common, I noticed that drivers will typically continue through intersections, and there is no formal crossing protocol such as a 'Walk' or 'Don't Walk.' While in Ho Chi Minh City, I noticed a particularly large boat (the Elisa Floating Restaurant) on the Song Sai Gon (Saigon River). In order to get over to the Elisa, I had to cross east the Nguyễn Tất Thành (major 8 lane road) from west to east. I noticed before crossing that the traffic was going non-stop, both motorbike and auto. So I decided to film myself crossing to show everyone how scary it was. I made it successfully across."
