Huge 11-foot crocodile rescued by villagers in India after laying 59 eggs


A huge 11-foot crocodile was rescued by locals after it laid 59 eggs in Arada village, eastern India.

The footage shows the villagers tying up the crocodile before they transported and released it into the Kharnasi water channel in Mahakalapada forest.

The 59 eggs were put into a bucket filled with sand and were handed over to a crocodile research centre in Bhitarankia National Park.

This incident was filmed on May 19.
