Huge 20-metre termite train weaves across the ground in Thailand

This huge termite train was filmed winding across the ground. The long trail of the ant-like termite insects, which bite and sting, was seen in Prachinburi, eastern Thailand on Saturday, April 13.

The termite trail appeared to be stretching more than 20 metres across the dry, dusty ground in the woodland.

The filmer said: ''I didn't know what they were at first, either ants of termites. But I filmed them and asked friends and everyone agreed they were termites. I was quite amazed by how many of them were there and how organised they were in a long trail moving from one place to another.''
