Locals were stunned when they were battered by this unseasonal hail storm.
Residents in Bayombong town in Nueva Vizcaya, the Philippines experienced were pummeled by the balls of ice on May 18 as the season in the Philippines shifts from dry to wet.
Onlooker Edwin Datan was driving his vehicle when the unusual raining of ice in the tropical country happened. He said: "It felt like tiny rocks were falling on the car. I had to drive carefully because I can't see much of the road."
