Hundreds march for slavery reparations in London

Hundreds marched in London from Brixton to Westminster on Thursday afternoon (August 1) calling for reparations to be made for slavery.

The march was also a demonstration against youth menticide and ecocide where Extinction Rebellion rebels were in attendance.

Marchers chanted "stop the Maangamizi", "Maangamizi" meaning the African holocaust of enslavement.

The demo coincides with Emancipation Day in many countries around the world.
