Hundreds marched through Seattle on Martin Luther King Jr. Day


Hundreds took to the streets of Seattle on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday to celebrate the inspirational figure's legacy.

According to a local source, the rally began at Garfield High School in the Central District to Westlake Park in downtown Seattle. Speakers shared what justice means for them, including fighting for immigrant rights, supporting black women and working toward an America where everyone is treated equally.

This video shows a sizable crowd rallying with a street band consisting of trumpeters, clarinetists and drummers.
