Israeli troops fire tear gas at small group of protesters outside Ofer prison

Israeli forces fired tear gas at protesters taking part in a small rally outside a West Bank prison on Tuesday (Aug 6).

The protest took place after measures - described as a "crackdown" in the Palestinian media - by Israeli forces on hunger-striking prisoners in Ofer Prison, near near Ramallah. Local media reported that the Israeli Prison Service in Ofer moved 20 Palestinian prisoners to solitary confinement.

Several people were injured in today's protest, according to the filmer.
