It's tanks on tour as Russia shows off military hardware seized from Syrian rebels

A train loaded with military hardware from Syria is currently touring Russia ahead of its arrival in Moscow next month.

Video filmed last week by a railway worker shows the train arriving in eastern Russia's Vladivostok with scores of tanks and other military hardware on board.

"Everybody knew the train is coming and we were so excited to see it," filmer Evgenij told Newsflare.

The equipment was reportedly seized by Russians from Syrian rebels as part of Moscow's campaign to help President Bashar al-Assad's regime.

According to reports, the train departed from Syria on the February 23, when Russia marks Defender’s of the Fatherland Day, and will arrive in Moscow in April.
