Light flashes over Heathrow Airport as drone sighting stops departures

A light flashes in the night sky over London's Heathrow Airport late Tuesday after a drone sighting grounded all departures.

The incident falls less than a month after Gatwick Airport was forced to close after reported drone sightings, impacting around 1,000 flights.

The filmer, who lives near the northern runway, speculated that the light could be the drone, saying it was "what appears to be a drone hovering over London Heathrow."

However, further footage from the scene suggested the light may have been a police helicopter.
