Little girl snags 'nasty surprise' while fishing

A five-year-old girl in Florida is something of a fishing enthusiast, joining her father in casting lines in their spare time.

However, on this occasion she is not so lucky. Instead of reeling in a fish as expected, she accidentally snags a turtle – to which she apparently harbours a severe disliking.

It scuttles up the bank, and the firs runs away screaming.

She "loves to fish," said her dad. "She thought it was a fish – she loves fishing – but has never caught a turtle.

We found out she hates turtles."
