Local baffled as dozens of bats swarm tree in Philippines town
Thousands of Golden-crowned flying fox bats were spotted resting at a tree in the middle of the day in the town of Miag-ao in Panay, the Philippines on March 27.
Baffled resident Leo said that it is the first time that they have seen that many bats flying around the town.
